Basically, a camcorder is an electronic device with a combination of both video camera and video cassette recorder. They also come in two types: Analog and Digital.
On any certain occasion, we want to have our own free space and watch any genres of the movie either alone or with family members. After all; we deserve our sweet little family gathering.
But is it possible to watch it on a television through a camcorder? Isn’t it a little complicated?
The best option will be to connect your television to your camcorder. It will be a lot more than fun.
Before we check out the steps to connect your camcorder to your television, let’s have a quick look at the equipment that we need.
Equipment that we need to connect the camcorder with TV:

How to connect a camcorder to TV:
Step-1: Know all the equipment
Now you all know the equipment that you need to get started. The one-chip camcorders with cables of common styles can be used. Or you can use the professional three-chip camcorders. On one end of the one-chip camcorder will feature a yellow colored RCA composite video while the red and white will feature audio connection. The other contains a Jack cable.
If you use the three-chip or professional camcorder, it will feature a connection of yellow, red and white colored cables on the camera. Or you can use the red-white stereo cables and an analog video signal as an alternative. It is your choice.
Step-2: Know the inputs on the television
You need to connect the camcorder to your television. That is why you need to locate the inputs on the television. The newer models will come with colored connection either in front or on the side of the TV. If the inputs are not located as mentioned then check on the backside of the TV. In case your TV doesn’t have any connection inputs, you can then use the RF Modulator. It will connect your camcorder with the TV.
Step-3: Attach the cables to your television
It is very crucial that you all the cables to the TV at first. This is to ensure that the length of the cables is enough to reach from the television to your camcorder. Once you have checked the length of the cables, then you can insert the cables according to the color matching slots on TV.
Step-4: Attach cables with the camcorder
After you are done inserting the cables to the television, let’s get back to our camcorder. Simply just insert the Jack into the slot of the camcorder. If you are using the analog camcorder then insert the colored cables with their matching slots.
Step-5: Switch the camcorder into VCR mode
After attaching all the cables with the TV and camcorders, turn on the television. That’s it? Not at all. Besides the power button of the camcorder, there will be another button or option that will be labeled as “VCR” or “Playback” that allows you to playback the video that you recorded. Turn that on.
Step-6: Insert Tape
You will need a tape to insert in your camcorder if you want to watch your home movies. Also, ensure that the tape is rewound. If you are scanning a short video clip, you don’t have to worry about rewinding the tape. The main point is, the video on your camcorder must be in playback mode.
Step-7: Auxiliary Channel
All television with colored inputs has auxiliary channels. To find it just switch on your TV, switch to any channel, press the down button from your remote control and you will see your television playing your video from your camcorder.
These steps are really simple to follow. Just ensure to insert the cables correctly with the respective slots of both the television and camcorders. Don’t forget to turn your camcorder to playback mode.
